PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Modernist ceramic sculpture depicting a seated woman holding a child in her arms. The elongated proportions and stylized features give the composition a strong sculptural presence, characteristic of postwar European artistic research. The textured surface and the dark, nuanced patina heighten the emotional intensity of this maternal scene, in which abstraction and expressiveness meet in balance. A refined decorative piece, at once intimate and architectural in its silhouette. French work, circa 1970.
