Sculptural Candlestick – Pierre Casenove for Fondica, Signed, 1990s

Sculptural candlestick in gilt cast aluminium by Pierre Casenove for Fondica, signed. Conceived as a true sculpture, the piece stands out for its organic forms and raw texture, characteristic of Casenove's work. The hammered, irregular surface, enhanced by a golden patina, catches the light and gives the whole a presence that is both sculptural and architectural. This creation perfectly illustrates Fondica's approach, combining fine craftsmanship and contemporary design. Pierre Casenove is a recognised figure of French design of the 1980s–1990s, appreciated for his expressive forms and his handling of materials. Signed "Fondica". French work, 1990s.
