PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This remarkable wrought iron chandelier is one of those pieces that commands attention the moment it is seen. Its eight arms, gracefully curved and animated, unfold with the elegance characteristic of the great French decorative ironwork ateliers of the interwar period. Each arm is adorned with repoussé gilt iron palmettes — a motif drawn from the classical repertoire, here reinterpreted with refinement and mastery by craftsmen of the 1930s and 1940s.

The metalwork, executed with great precision and care, bears witness to a rare artisanal tradition. The deep patina of the ironwork plays beautifully against the gilded highlights of the palmettes, creating a subtle and sophisticated interplay of materials. The overall structure, at once airy and monumental, suits a grand reception room, a gallery, or any interior of character.
