PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Faux-bamboo brass console with clear glass shelves edged with a band of silvered mirror. The brass frame imitates bamboo stems, while the mirror border outlines the shelves with a luminous edge. French work in the style of Jacques Adnet, circa 1970.
Faux bamboo was widely reinterpreted in 20th-century metal furniture, where it brings a note of natural and exotic inspiration. Combined with glass and mirror, brass gives this console a light and luminous silhouette. Placed in an entrance hall, against a living-room wall or behind a sofa, it provides a display surface for lamps, books and objects.
