PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This floor lamp combines black lacquer and brass, a clear contrast between deep black and the golden gleam of the metal. It dates from circa 1970. It stands 181 cm high on a base of 32 × 20 cm, slender proportions that allow it to sit in a corner or along a wall without crowding the room. The pairing of black and brass is characteristic of the 1970s, which carried forward the elegance of mid-century design with an emphasis on graphic lines and contrasting finishes. Restrained and structured, this floor lamp sits as well with furniture of the same period as with a contemporary interior, beside a sofa, an armchair or a desk.
