PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This floor reading lamp features a fluted gilt brass shaft topped with a spinning-top finial, resting on a stepped circular base. The conical black shade with a gilt interior diffuses a warm and concentrated light.

This model of reading lamp with an articulated arm fits within the Neoclassical tradition of the library light fitting, brought back into fashion in the 1970s by the French houses specialising in gilt brass, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Jansen.
