PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This cheval mirror features an elongated oval glass set in a molded brass frame, pivoting between two tubular uprights topped with spinning-top finials. The base, formed of curved scrolled feet, ensures excellent stability while lightening the silhouette. The tilting mechanism allows the inclination of the glass to be adjusted.
This tabletop cheval mirror belongs to the refined French production of the 1970s, which brought polished brass and forms inherited from the neoclassical vocabulary back into fashion, in the spirit of the great Parisian houses such as Baguès or Jansen.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a fine, even gilt patina, functional tilting mechanism. An elegant accessory for a dressing table, a bathroom or a bedroom chest of drawers.
