PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Signed oil on canvas, circa 1960. The work is in a horizontal format, 104 cm wide by 87 cm high, giving it a strong presence on a wall. Oil paint worked on canvas allows the artist to play on the thickness of the medium and the depth of colour, which give the painting its density.
Executed at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, the canvas belongs to the pictorial production of that period. Hung on its own or as part of a larger arrangement, it will find its place in a living room, a library or a study, in dialogue with 20th-century furniture and objects.
