PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Each lamp features a slender ovoid body in white-enamelled ceramic, with a glossy, milky surface, underscored at the top by a gilt brass ring forming a neck and resting on a circular base also ringed with brass. The black truncated-cone shades with a gilt interior concentrate a warm light and create a graphic contrast with the whiteness of the shaft.

This dialogue of white enamel, brass and black, as well as the purity of the ovoid form, are characteristic of the taste of the 1970s, which favoured simple volumes and luminous materials for lamps of sculptural presence.

Condition report: Very good condition. White enamel with no visible flaw, brass with fine gilding, shade remade to measure. Electricity checked by an electrician. A chic and timeless pair for bedside tables, a console or the two ends of a sideboard.
