PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Each side table features a quadrangular brass structure with tubular uprights punctuated by turned rings, surmounted by ball finials at the corners. Three clear glass tiers, set into moulded frames, articulate the height and offer a triple display surface while preserving the transparency of the whole. Small original castors facilitate their movement.
This pair is a work by Maison Scholtz, whose 1960s occasional pieces in brass and glass belong to the great tradition of Parisian houses such as Jansen and Baguès: Neoclassical restraint, polished brass, elegant functionality.
Condition report: Good general condition. Brass with a beautiful, even gilt patina, original glass which may show probable minor surface scratches inherent to use. A tall and airy pair, ideal flanking a sofa or as refined bedside tables.
