PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Each side table presents a circular brass structure with three tapered and ringed uprights, surmounted by finely chased pinecone finials and ending in bun feet. Two clear glass tiers set into moulded frames are superimposed, offering a double display surface of great visual lightness.

This Neoclassical writing — pinecone finials, tapered uprights, glass and brass — is characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts, whose small movable furniture ranks among the most sought-after on the market.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a beautiful even gilt patina, glass possibly presenting probable surface micro-scratches inherent to use. A luminous and discreet pair, framing a sofa or as occasional pedestal tables.
