PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Each bar cart features an oval brass structure with fluted uprights surmounted by small finials. The upper tier, surrounded by an openwork gallery and fitted with handles, is removable and forms a serving tray; the lower tier incorporates a bottle holder with brass rings. Of graduated sizes, the two tables slide one beneath the other in the manner of nesting tables and roll on original castors.

Openwork galleries, removable tiers and bottle holders constitute the formal signature of Maison Baguès, the Parisian reference in gilt brass, to which this pair is stylistically linked. Graduated pairs, being rarer, are particularly sought after.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a beautiful even gilt patina, the glass possibly showing probable surface micro-scratches inherent to use, functional castors. A duo as practical as it is elegant for service in the sitting room or in a conservatory.
