PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Silvered neoclassical coffee table with blue-tinted glass tops. The silvered finish of the structure harmonises with the cool, light tone of the glass, creating a luminous and refined whole. Circa 1940.
The neoclassicism of the 1930s and 1940s revisited the vocabulary of Antiquity in a pared-down spirit, favouring clean lines and reflective surfaces such as silvered metal, mirror and tinted glass. The blue-tinted glass tops give this table a subtle note of colour that echoes the sheen of the silvered finish. Placed in front of a sofa or between two armchairs, it offers display surfaces for books and objects and suits a classical or a contemporary interior alike.
