PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This round bar cart features a brass structure with tapering, fluted uprights topped with seed finials. The two glass tiers are ringed by tall arcaded openwork galleries; the top tray, removable, forms a serving tray fitted with openwork handles, while the lower tier is fitted with a ringed brass bottle holder. The whole rolls on its original castors.
This functional refinement — pierced galleries, removable tray, bottle holder — allows this trolley to be associated with the taste of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, whose brass service furniture accompanied the most elegant receptions.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a fine gilded patina, glass possibly showing likely surface micro-scratches, working castors. A complete and refined trolley, perfect as a rolling bar in the living room.
